Stage 1: Pre-Learners
This is a 2 hour introduction for those who have never ridden a motorcycle before. It is also recommended for those who have not ridden for many years, to refresh your memory. By the end of the course you should be able to move off, change gears correctly, have been taught basic cornering skills and how to come to a safe controlled stop.

The purpose is to provide you with the knowledge and basic skills that you need before learning to ride a motorcycle. Once you have completed this, you will be ready to move on to the next level of instruction.
Our motorcycle lessons are the perfect primer for beginners as well as those who haven’t been in the saddle for a while. It’s also a great way to give riding a try and find out if it’s something you think you could be interested in.
This is the process of the bike moving forward once you have started the engine and put the bike in the right gear.
Basic cornering skills - more difficult on a motorcycle than in a car, as cornering involves the use of your whole body as well as the correct manipulation of the gears.
